Your entire back office.
Every module open-sourced. Every commit visible. Every migration script auditable. Replace six-figure SAP contracts with a stack you can inspect before breakfast.
The Verdict.
No fine print.
Six dimensions. Four platforms. One table. This is what enterprise software vendors don't put in their sales decks.
| Dimension | OpenERP_Platform open-source | SAP S/4HANA | Oracle NetSuite | Microsoft Dynamics |

Every module.
Every commit visible.
Four production-grade modules ship in the base image. No upsells. No "premium tier." No features locked behind a sales call.
Inventory
Real-time stock tracking across unlimited warehouses. Lot traceability, FIFO/LIFO costing, and barcode scanning — all auditable to the commit.
Accounting
Double-entry ledger, multi-currency, full audit trail. GAAP and IFRS compliant. Every journal entry traceable to its source transaction.
Human Resources
Payroll, leave management, org charts, and performance tracking. No per-seat upsell. The entire module ships in the base image.
CRM
Pipeline management, lead scoring, and email sequences. Integrated directly with inventory and invoicing — no middleware, no webhook hell.
Own Your Stack
No black boxes. No forced upgrades. No "contact sales for pricing." Fork it, extend it, audit it.
Built in the open.
Trusted in production.
2,841 contributors have read every line. That's 2,841 people who found nothing to hide. The code is the trust signal.
"We cut our ERP spend from $240K/year to $18K in hosting costs. The audit trail alone justified the migration."
"I read the accounting module source on a Sunday afternoon. That's when I knew we were replacing NetSuite."
"Our auditors have never been happier. Every journal entry links back to a Git commit. That's unprecedented."
Questions you actually have.
Is this actually production-ready, or is it a weekend project?
87,442 commits. 340+ production deployments. 2,841 contributors. Meridian Manufacturing runs 12 warehouses on it. Paragon Analytics processes $4.2M pipeline through the CRM module. The code is public — read it.
What does "zero license cost" actually mean?
Apache 2.0. Use it commercially, modify it, redistribute it. The only cost is your infrastructure — typically $200–$800/month on a 250-seat deployment vs. $180K+ annually for SAP. We will never retroactively change the license.
How do I migrate from SAP / Oracle / Dynamics?
We provide migration scripts for all three. The accounting module imports trial balances, open AR/AP, and historical transactions. Full migration playbook is in the docs. Average migration time for a 250-seat company: 6–8 weeks.
What about compliance — SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001?
Full audit trail on every transaction, every user action, every configuration change. GDPR data export and deletion tools are built in. SOX compliance checklist ships in the accounting module. ISO 27001 controls are documented in the security guide.
Who provides support if something breaks?
Three options: community support (GitHub Issues, Discord — 2,841 contributors), paid support contracts from certified partners, or your own team since the source is fully readable. No single point of failure. No "call your account manager."
Can I run it on my own infrastructure?
That is the point. Docker, Kubernetes, bare metal, AWS, GCP, Azure, or your on-prem rack. The docker-compose.yml in the hero is the entire deployment. Your data never touches our servers.
Deploy your demo instance.
We'll provision a sandboxed instance with your modules pre-loaded. No credit card. No sales call unless you want one.
